1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Veripher website and services (the "Service"), operated by Veripher ("we", "us", "our"). By registering an account, funding a wallet, or using any part of the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using Veripher you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a resident of, any jurisdiction where use of the Service would be unlawful, or if you are subject to applicable sanctions or restricted-party lists.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

We may require identity verification before permitting certain activity, including higher-value transactions or access to certain categories of service. You agree to provide such information on request.

One person or entity may not operate multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or pricing.

4. What the Service does

Veripher provides temporary access to phone numbers that can receive one-time verification codes (SMS), sourced through third-party telecommunications suppliers. You do not purchase or own the number. Access is temporary and limited to the specific activation or rental period purchased.

Numbers are provided for lawful purposes such as protecting your personal number when signing up for online services, software and integration testing, and privacy-conscious account registration.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service, directly or indirectly, to:

We reserve the right to refuse, restrict, or block any service, country, or transaction at our discretion, including where we believe there is a risk of abuse. We may report unlawful activity to relevant authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations.

6. Payments, wallet and pricing

The Service operates on a prepaid wallet model. You add funds to your Veripher wallet, and purchases are deducted from that balance. Wallet funds are a prepaid credit for use on the Service only.

Wallet funds are not a deposit, are not held in trust, earn no interest, and are not transferable between accounts or redeemable for cash except as expressly stated in these Terms or as required by law.

Prices are displayed before purchase and may change at any time without notice, as supplier costs and availability fluctuate. The price applicable to a purchase is the price shown at the moment of that purchase.

Payments may be made through supported third-party payment processors, including cryptocurrency payment providers. Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible. You are responsible for sending the correct amount, on the correct network, to the address provided. We are not liable for funds lost due to incorrect network selection, incorrect addresses, or errors by a payment provider or blockchain network.

7. Refunds

If a verification code is not received within the activation window, the purchase is automatically cancelled and the amount is returned to your Veripher wallet balance.

Once a verification code has been delivered to you, the purchase is complete and is not refundable, regardless of whether the code was accepted by the third-party platform.

Wallet top-ups are generally non-refundable to your original payment method. We may, at our sole discretion, consider withdrawal or refund requests on a case-by-case basis, subject to identity verification and applicable fees.

We do not provide refunds where an account has been suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms.

8. Availability and no guarantee of delivery

Number availability, pricing, and delivery success depend on third-party suppliers and telecommunications networks outside our control. We do not guarantee that a number will be available for any particular service or country, that any code will arrive, or that any third-party platform will accept a given number.

Many platforms actively detect and reject temporary or virtual numbers. A failed verification attributable to a third-party platform's policies is not a defect in the Service.

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, supplier issues, or events beyond our control.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, cancel pending orders, and withhold or forfeit wallet balances where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct, or created risk for us, our suppliers, or third parties.

You may stop using the Service and request account closure at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party suppliers, payment processors, and networks. Their terms and policies apply to their respective services. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, outages, or decisions of third parties.

Names of third-party platforms are used solely to identify the service a number may be used to verify. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any such platform, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Intellectual property

The Veripher name, logo, website, and content are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Veripher and its operators, employees, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Veripher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, unless mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by contacting us at support@veripher.com.
